Tick Tock Challenge
Privacy Policy · Last updated: June 4, 2026
Tick Tock Challenge (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is a casual timing game. We care about your privacy and built the App to collect as little information as possible. This policy explains what we handle and why.
Information we handle
We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any account login.
- Anonymous player ID. When you use Online multiplayer, our backend (Supabase) issues a random anonymous identifier to your device so we can tell players apart during a game. It is not linked to your real identity.
- Display name & colour. The nickname and colour you choose for a match. Please don’t enter personal information as your nickname — it is shown to other players in the room.
- Gameplay data. Room codes, round targets, your timing results, and scores, used to run the live match and leaderboard.
Camera
The App can use your device camera only to scan a room’s QR code so you can join a game. Camera images are processed on your device to read the code and are never stored, recorded, or transmitted. You can decline the camera permission and join by typing the room code instead.
What we do not do
- No advertising or ad networks.
- No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No selling or sharing of data with advertisers or data brokers.
- No location collection.
How data is stored and retained
Online gameplay data is stored by our backend provider, Supabase, solely to operate live matches. Room and match data is transient and may be cleared automatically. Solo and Pass & Play data stays on your device.
Children’s privacy
The App is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we don’t collect personal data or require an account, no profiles are built about any user.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
